MrRalphMan
Hi all, What I want to do is create a grid in Paint Shop Pro so I can align items in my pictures. It needs to be a custom grid, with several different sized rectangles and stay on top while I am editing the image. Once done either does not save with the image or is easy to remove. Anyone got any ideas? See this page under VGA Themes for an example of what I mean. http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/pocketplus/themetutorial.html?en#todaybackground Paul. ellis
I don't know if Paint Shop Pro is like Photoshop but you can create a grid in another programme (Illustrator or Feeehand) and paste it into your document as a separate layer then turn it on and off as you need it (put it as the top layer obviously and even change the opacity if needed). MrRalphMan
Yeah, I'd thought of doing it like that I was just wondering if there was a way of having it on all the time, but not be part of the picture. Allow me to draw through it to the image behind. *** Edit *** Thanks for the reply though..
lust2luv
You should be able to create it as a layer, bring it to the front, then select and edit the background layer with it still showing no problem.

Ric
CTRL + R brings up the rulars at the side. Then click the ruler, and drag inwards it will bring up a blue line, which you can position anywhere and it will snap onto the layer which is selected Edit, bah, im talking about photoshop, didnt see the paint shop pro bit
