SupraPL
Hello again. How are you today? One more question for you guys: I need some good quality organic (preferred) clutch good enough for up to 430-450 foot pounds of torque. Any recommendation? Have a nice day. tooquicktostop
This was real important to me when I moved from Auto to Manual with a six speed conversion, I took a lot of advice as I wanted a strong clutch with a good pedal feel and not too heavy, I was sold an RPS Street Strip in the end and I have been very happy with the results Gaz at Envy supplied the clutch BTW
SupraPL
I'm thinking about: RPS Max Clutch with Street Disc and TRD http://trdparts.jp/english/parts_clutch.html
supragold
I'm running an HKS GD Max twin plate kit and love it. So easy to control. Pedal feels lighter than stock.
Nic
Note this is for a 5spd NA gearbox, so the choice of available clutches will be more limited.
Gamer
I'm running an HKS GD Max twin plate kit and love it. So easy to control. Pedal feels lighter than stock. I am running the same clutch and agree with Supragold.
letmeshowyou
did your milage issues go away Mark? (I seem to remember something about the first one not lasting very long, or was that a different clutch?)
Wez
I have an OS Giken twin plate but thats prob a bit over kill. The RPS stuff seems well liked. CW offers his own uprated unit.
Chris Wilson
Not for the N/A, I don't do those, but thanks Wez I COULD do a similar unit if the demand was there, about 110 quid more than a stock OE unit.

supragold
did your milage issues go away Mark? (I seem to remember something about the first one not lasting very long, or was that a different clutch?) Yeah same clutch. I had one of the first released by HKS and they had issues in life span. They sent me a redesigned overhaul kit fitted and its all good now thanks.
