terribleturner
First off we have an oil relocation kit WITH thermostat if you want to install a cooler. The kit comes from Think Auto and has been installed on the car but havee never ever had oil touch the insides. The filter relocation plate comes with 2 x bungs in which to install an oil temp or pressure sensor (or both). In the pictures you'll notice the stat has 3 attached fitting's. The 4th is outside andd im lazy So lets recap.... 1x Oil Filter Block Adaptor 1x Oil Stat 1x Oil Filter relocation Plate 4x Straight Hose Fittings (Oil Stat) 2x 90 Degree Hose Hose Fittings (Block Adaptor) 2x Straight Hose Fittings (relocation plate) 2x Sensor Bungs All this for £80 shipped. This is essential if going AEM on a UK car and just a nice addition if J-Spec. Think i've taken it out of the bag once to check over but that was it. £40 posted EBAY 1x used T3 to T4 adaptor flange. leelbuk
Quick Q - where does this relocate the filter to? And easy to fit?
terribleturner
Yeah the reloction kit is VERY easy to install. Undo your filter like doing an oil change and install the piece on the left with the 2x 90 degree fittings. If your not going to use the stat then just run two hoses to the filter plate, mount the plate and install a new filter/top up oil. Job done. If using a cooler then one hose goes to the stat, one to the cooler, one back to the stat, and then one from the stat to the plate.
