Daston
Hi guys Tring to get my rear studs out and made up a simple tool that would clamp around them and I could tighten a bolt that would push it out. However after 3 studs the tool is a bit bent and so I thought it would be best to get a propper tool (patience is running out) Question is what tool would be best for the job?? edge
Can you get two nuts on the studs that are left?
Bobbeh
Datson, I think it was mentioned that a Balljoint separator was the tool that could be used.. although it needed to be filed a little to fit around the stud. Ian C Posted a good thread about removing studs etc, and that was the tool of choice. jazz1
i used a sledge hammer to wack them out and then tighten them in but used break clean liquid to help compress them in:d job was done perfect

edge
Put two nuts on and tighten to lock and should be able to turn the nut closest to the car and it will be stopped by the nut closest to you. If you can fit 3 on even better.
