milage too high for resale??

been looking at a 94 na manual with 157 klms.about 97,ooo miles.he is asking £3400.nice supra ,but am worried about resale? for that amount of money,am i being too pickey??

It's not bad price, also take into consideration, that you can buy NA engine in good condition for like 400 pounds If you expect to make some money on Supra - forget it. NA usually have rather reliable engines and are not stressed that much like most of TT's around, so you should be fine.

mine has over 97,000 miles on it. engine is still very liable *touch wood* and have not had a problem.

 

tbh resale value has never even crossed my mind, i do know i won't get what i paid for it even with the few bits i've added.

For a manual that is a good price! I wouldn’t worry too much about the resale as the NA will probably be going for about £800 when you come to sell anyway. Only you can decide if you'll be happy or not.

Yeah resale has never crossed my min either as i doubt it will ever be sold. I love it too much

My manual NA has done 95000 miles and drives spot on.

Just buy it!! Sounds like a bargain. Check fluid and oil levels etc. At the end of the day the car is about £800 less than I would have expected. What could go wrong that would cost you £800. Not much!!

if the car is in a better condition than the last one you looked at then go for it.

 

n/a manual for sub £3.5K is pretty good.

 

if i knew a bit more about supra engines i would offer to come look at some of them with you.
