I was in the chippy behind a woman and her little boy (I don't know, about 4 or 5 ish) and he was stretching up trying to grab hold of the hot bit of the counter and she was ignoring him. Then he just wanders out the door onto the street and around the corner out of sight. I was thinking FFS woman, watch your bloody kid! Now the thing to bear in mind (and for the benefit of the locals, I was at Umberto's in Preston) this chippy is on the corner of a stupidly busy junction of 3 duals and a couple of single lane roads!
