MichaelH
Currently experiencing an intermittent starting problem. Sometime starts fine, other times take several attempts and it fires up fine. There is a 'click' as if the starter motor is trying to go, but nothing. Any suggestions? Also there is a noise which is coming from somewhere more central than the starter motor when the start fails... am at a bit of a loss. Anyone got any suggestions? Chris Wilson
The starter solenoid contacts are burnt out, get the starter motor overhauled. I can do these while you wait.
