Chewie
Any suggestions on how to break in a pair of brand new biker trousers? This is the third day of bedding in. Could've sworn they fitted in the shop. I can't even get on the bike without using step ladders or lowered from a crane. And the 'clamping force' is excruciating!! 3 hrs is all I can take. [sHOCK][/sHOCK] HELP!
edge
Id take them back tbh. Last thing you want is them giving you hassle whilst your trying to concentrate.

DaveK
I think it just takes time! You could try going over them with feed or something - might soften them up a bit.
Holden1989
u could try some 'leather dressing' its like a oil that is absorbed into the leather quickly and softens it, what i use on my horses tack

Class One
When you tried them on in the shop, you did try and crouch down into "the position" didn't you?

Class One
what , just in case you had to p1ss & crap in them later or . . . . . .er im lost If you buy lether biking trousers, then the best way to test their fit is to squat down, especially if you're going to be riding a sports bike, to make sure that there's enough give in the backside and not too tight around the backs of the knees. Chewie
LOL! All my old stuff were hand downs so this is all news to me. I didn't assume the 'position' cos I did n't want to bust anything including myself. They were 'stiff' in the shop but you always assume they'll break in quickly. My last jacket took a month before it stopped chafing. Only time, hard work and sweat
