Gaz Walker
do you think there would be room to fit my filter in the same location? Is there any excess length on the intake pipe you have there, that could be cut down to make room for the K&N to fit? Hi Nic, Our filter is 4" neck, 6" wide and 9" long so if that fits, yours will! The HKS filter isn't known for its great filtering, TBH its the last place I would fit one of them! Gaz.

I tried contacting SP to see if they'll sell just the intake pipe, but no response as yet.

Alex
That cut in the filler plate is a little messy, I used a circular 4.5" cutter for mine and then, most importantly, I glue'd on a strip of rubber to protect fingers from the cut metal. Other than that the install is going great

Cheers Francis, stereo is getting ditched for the minute, might eventually fit a sound system with a custom install for the head unit, but for now I'll be listening to the sweet music from the engine

Shilakadaddy
Do you ever go to any of the Jap North East meets? I remember seeing your car at one of the euro drift events a while back. If you do go to a meet I'll have to get myself along to see this in person, looks really impressive
jevansio
I've never been to any of the NE Supra meets Chris, I do attend the NE MR2 meets as I made a lot of friends after owning 3 MR2's for years. Yeah I was at that drift thing (that was one of the MR2 meets too). Good day out that Yeah be good to get to one of the NE Supra meets, if you're anywhere near Motorscope on Friday I'll be there getting it mapped with Michel. If you wanna have a look at it though just let me know, I'm always in the Cleveland area (I work in Stockton) and only live in Durham, cheers for the comments too

Nic
Nearly there Jay I'd personally swap the rubber hoses to the turbo, for braided lines with proper fittings instead.

Cheers Nic Will run it past Michel, is it necessary for the water lines? I'm assuming it's to protect the hose, could I not get some sort of braided cover for them to protect them from heat?
