Chris Wilson
Has anyone actually got a MKIV TT u and running on a power FC here in the UK? A customer was looking at me doing some mapping on my R33 and that runs Power FC and datalogit software, for now. I know Apexi did a Power FC for early manual J-Spec cars, but, AFAIK, Datalogit software doesn't exist for it (low demand) and i have never heard of anyone running PFC on a car over here at all. Just curious. Ta!

Chris Wilson
Eyefi, so are you just running the base mapped, trimmed by the hand commander? Are the Power FC's for the early manual J-spec TT's still available? Cheers!
Guest Terry S
Not sure Chris, I was also told they make one for the VVTi Manual but could never find it

Cheers! yes i am. apex did lots of different powerfc's for all sorts of cars. but some powerfc's for certain models where handled by a sister company to apex called ap engineering. it was ap who did the 2jz ECU's. these would b the people to speak to regarding the VVTI, but i dont think they do. link envy where selling 2jz-gte powerfc's a short while back, so i assume they r still available. i cant wait until the 2jz datalogit is released. Paul Whiffin
Alright Chris, I remapped suprastorms for him last week as it was running waaaaaaaaaaaaay to much ignition timing and to rich. Pretty easy to setup just a bit tedious with the hand controller, takes bloody ages to change large chunks of the maps. I'll find out if I can get you one if you like? Datalogit software makes it soooo much easier and you get access to extras that you cant get to with the hand controller, setup the Whifbitz GTR with it, worth every penny when its available for the Supra. Paul Whiffin
No more flashing lights then? Cant believe how much ignition timing it had in there! You need to get that boost up a bit, your missing out on some extra power there mate.
