dannysupratt
Hi just wondering if anyone can help me. I want to remove these black things either side of the numberplate, does anyone how they are held on and if they leave any holes behind. Im sure they are easy to take off just wondering if anyone one has done it anyway. thanks danny
edge
Take number plate off. Think there is a screw on each black bit at the top and they are also stuck on. Just carefully pull them off. All can be done without getting in or under the car.

All can be done without getting in or under the car. you'll have a load of sticky residue left to pick away at, but you'll get there in the end. edge
Shouldnt be any holes. And yeah pull all the sticky off if it doesnt come off with the black bits. WD40 is always a paint friendly sticky remover if theres any left

colsoop
If they have been on for the life of the car then the paintwork may be a different colour to the rest of the bumper, something to bear in mind.
steb9780
I found the paint on mine underneathe was fine colourwise. But there were a few little marks where the plastic has taken the paint off. Probably with the bumper and garnish bits rubbing when the car moves/flexes.

Guest Nicholas
As said they use the rear numberplate light fittings to screw into just remove the screws and pull away if they're relly glued on use dental floss and work away

smithaldo
I had a look behind mine and there are holes where they fit into. Not screwed in at all. Thats why I've left mine on, so the holes aren't showing. Yours might be different though.
Kieran
Don't forget to stick them on eBay as well - got £50 or so for mine. After asking round on here if anyone wants them obviously...
