dazla
I've heard of magpies attacking anything but not crows. There was two magpies on my roof the other day. I was having my tea in the back garden when a bloody big bone flew off the roof and landed on my plate. I couldn't believe my eyes. god knows what if came from. Another strange one is i was fishing on Sunday and saw a seagull trying to kill an heron. The poor thing was squawking like mad. I could believe my eyes as the heron was triple its size. Rico2006
Ive just watched a Sparrowhawk take out a pidgeon mid flight - smacked it into the ground... Lots of feathers everywhere, then its flown off with the plucked body! Seems like everyones got it in for the pidgeons!
Kittyclaws
Seems like everyones got it in for the pidgeons! Yep, even Trains. since I have been driving, I have hit 91 Pidgeons. I have seen a crow try and attack a Kestral. It didn't have much luck, as every time it tried to chase it, the Kezy would just side step it and hover. You could tell by the noise that the Crow was pissed off Ps,, Have also hit 2 crows with my Train (which is near Hero status as they are near impossible to hit)

RobDogg
I just misread the title of this thread and thought it said "Cows attack and kill a pigeon in my garden" I was just imagining how the hell they did it and pictured a bunch of rampaging cows in your back garden! I suppose crows makes more sense.
Lewis
indeed they do, prey on the weak and defenceless. my grandad has asked me to go up to his farm and get shooting with his rifle...course i don't have a licence so couldn't possibly you don't need one in that situation..... Millsy
Don't know much about crows, but when I was a kid one of our cats killed a magpie. Then a few days later the cat disappeared and a neighbour said they saw it being harrassed by a bunch of magpies, all swooping down having a go at it. That's pretty mental. The cat never turned up again. Also, saw a magpie and a squirrel having an argument on a roof yesterday, and a few months ago driving up the M11 I saw a rook/crow attacking a rabbit on the hard shoulder. Damn birds!
