PhilMorrison
I put some pics up here, and on a few other forums of the Soarer and , I've had loads of people asking for info on when the car will be sold, so I've decided to put it up for sale now . 1995 Toyota Soarer circa 65,000miles. Recently converted to mileage, so I need to check my records of the crossover KM figure for the exact mileage. 1JZ-GTE, standard boost for it's whole life. Just a Blitz air filter. and the Vertex back box's. Seems to have been maintained meticulously in Japan, and owned by someone very obsessed with keeping it Mint. In the relatively short time I have owned it, I have done 2 services, and only ever run it on Shell Optimax or whatever it's called now. FACTORY MANUAL! This is no luxo barge, it is a drivers car, and has given me many many hours of big grins daily driving it. Absolutely fabulous power delivery, and incredible top speed. This car has never ever been drifted. It currently has an Open differential. I do have a Torsen LSD from a Supra that I was going to fit. I may do a deal. Pearlecent White, Genuine T&E Vertex Bodykit. Not entirely sure what the front bumper is yet. Extremely good bodywork, just a couple of tinytinyweeny blemishes. Easily the mintest Soarer I have ever seen, and by far the tidiest car I have ever owned. It has lowering springs fitted, I'm not sure what brand, but they drop the car the perfect amount, make it look incredibly low, but very suprisingly it still clears speedbumps. I have loads of the type that you have to straddle around by me, and it never hit's. Special Edition Rota GTR 18x9.5 ET12 all round, rolled rear arches, and good tyres all round. HID headlights. Soarer headlights are notoriously crap, this was one of the first upgrades I made to the car, and as well as allow you to actually see in the dark really well, they add to the 'poshness' too . The Stereo in this car is unbelievable. It's completely standard as far as I know, but comes with a 10" Sub in the parcel shelf, and absolutely loves my Pendulum CD .. Seriously, I'm gutted to be selling this car. I think I'm actually more gutted to sell this, than I was the Driftworks S14. But I'm on a quest to own one of every Toyota ever made in the next 2 years, so I have to get on with it ... Priced low to sell, as I have my eye on the next car already.. £6500. P.S. I have a full 600bhp Blitz turbo kit that I bought for this car, it's a direct bolt on replacement kit. It's currently for sale seperately, but I will consider doing a deal if bought with this car . RedM
That's lovely and if I can find some pikeys to nick mine and leave it burning in a field I'll have it off you. Just out of interest though, are these cars powered by the same or similar TT arrangement as a Supra? What sort of power do these out out? Are the back seats usable for adults? garethr
... are these cars powered by the same or similar TT arrangement as a Supra? No, twin parallel ceramic turbos. What sort of power do these put out? The usual 280 bhp claimed. Are the back seats usable for adults? You can forget about the seat behind the driver, but if the passenger seat is moved forward, there's enough room.
