Just asking because I got a great quote from Admiral, but when phoning to arrange cover, they asked if I had an induction kit - I said yes, they said 'sorry, we can't insure cars with Induction Kits'. It's worth checking. Insurance companies will always offer you a brolly when it's not raining. They will happily take your money and insure you, but if you make a claim - they will do what they can to wriggle out of paying out !!! Hope it's ok for you tho Matt
JamesArup
Hmmm .... good point! I told them that I had a non-standard Apexi air-filter ... those were my exact words? I hate the way they purposefully employ retards so that they can plead ignorance when it comes to making a claim
dangerous brain
they do it a lot I reckon so that once you have given them the money you then get your policy through with incorrect details and have to stump up more cash or start looking for insurance all over again. Its like a casino they will do anything to get you through the doors cos they know the majority will leave all their cash behind once inside. SkyJawa
The Admiral group, eg Admiral, Elephant etc, do not entertain boost controllers and induction at all - weirdo's!!! Though to be honest you are well advised to stay well well away from any Admiral based insurers
Jay
How very odd, Elephant were fine about my HKS induction kit, and my exhaust, but categorically refused to insure me with the Blitz Dump Valve in place. Talk about mixed responses...
