Slow compared to a GT4088R Supra though Jay ;)

Gaz.

I hope so :D,

I've drove one, a modified one at that - chalk and cheese my friend :D

I feel priviledged to own both, I came from a working class background in a coal mining village, it's been hard work getting to this point in my life.

Cheers supra61, appreciate the comments mate, the Supra is such a special car when it came to choose between it and something else I couldn't, even a 911 turbo,

Hey Dan I'll swap for that mint white MR2 you have, good memories in that car :D :D

Doh! it went last weekend, Brook Stevens (remember that name?) an old face from IMOC bought it, we (I) spent the last 3 saturdays rebuilding it as it's been in pieces in my garage for the last year. When everything was reassembled and the battery charged, it fired up first time and purred like a kitten once again.

Once the TD06 and external wastegate (that i fitted) are all setup right it'll be a stonker once again :)

i do like that..

what is it, a C2?

whats the drive and handling like compared to the sup?

Hi Imi, thanks mate,

It's a 996 Turbo.

Only took it out for a 15 min run today (but have been in my mates all week). For a standard car it pulls suprisingly well too 160+ leptons, it feels sure footed around the bends. I chose to go for the tiptronic box (auto), this car doesn't need to quench my need for manual thrills (the Supra will do that :D).

The name rings a vauge bell, good to see it's still within the IMOC crowd, 2nd best forum in the world (but don't tell them I said that :D).

One of my favourite cars that, never let me down or gave me any trouble (not like the black one :D).

He has big plans for it too, setting it up for drag eventually.

So the porker then, about £50k? ;)

It's good to see previous cars with big plans, Dan (GeeMan on IMOC) who got my last one has just about ironed out the probs I believe,

I feel ashamed to say that's about correct ;)

SWEET JESUS - ENOUGH SAID :D

BTW Imi big thanks for sending the Stubby direct to Heyrick, it's not that I didn't like the stubby, just the Supra is going stereo-less now (I'll show ya pics in a couple of days).

That's big time mate, must feel awesome

It sure does, be great to see you again, if you're ever up at Croft in the car let me know & I'll get along there

Nice looking car. I'm jealous!

Was wondering when you'd notice Dave :D, you must be the only other person on here who I know loves Porsches as much as me :D
