carl0s
what's the best one? I think I'm gonna buy a PS2 off eBay for when GT4 comes out, but in the mean time can anyone recommend a good racing game with GREAT graphics? not NFS Underground. that gets so boring. Syed Shah
GREAT GRAPHICS = XBOX. Get one! PS2s have great games, not great graphics.
carl0s
I know but GT4 will be PS2 only won't it?
Syed Shah
Unless Sony team up with their arch-rival, YES! Though a competitior to GT4 is coming out on BOX, called Forza Motorsport IIRC. Just get the PS2 and wait for GT4. The GT and GTA games are the only series worth getting on a PS2 IMHO.

My radeon 9800 still looks miles better at 1024x768.. and that's not even anything special compared to a lot of proper gamer stuff.

Be interesting to see what happens as HDTVs become the norm over the next 5-10 years though.
Bobbeh
Err PC's have MUCH better graphics than on consoles. Your TV cant display more than 512 res anyway so anything higher is a waste...and HDTV is only 1024 res.
chazuk
Toca Race Drive 2 is great loads of supra's and good graphics on pc that is not sure about ps2 ..
Guest Garfy
Need for speed underground, its the best game ever, full of jap cars and you can mod them as much as you want, even down to the colour of the brake calipers, and i think its only about £20 now because a new one is coming out soon

It's the worst in the NFS series yet, and I imagine the next will be even more stunted, limited, and shallow. Bring back NFS4 say I, and bung in the Motor City tuning engine. If you want to know how shit NFS-U is, get in a 3-lap race, start, park at the start line, watch TV for a half hour, go back to the game, and win the race as the AI cars are parked 10 seconds up the road waiting for you. That is one of it's many, many flaws - don't buy this game. -Ian

attilauk
doesn't juiced come out in a couple of weeks? that game is brilliant, Nick G (shock mr2) has a sponsorship deal with them and gets juiced game pods to take to events, the game rocks:thumbs: all the tuning and styling parts are real and the handling engine is fantastic:cool:
