TLicense
Righto, It's insurance time. I need to sort out a valuation.... A brief description:- '93 JDM 100K miles Blitz twin kit with associated mods (fuelling etc.) AEM ECU RPS flywheel and clutch 6 speed conversion AP 6 pot front brakes New Volk GTS wheels G&B timmed interior Pioneer sat nav Recent re-spray I've spent around £28K on bits and bobs including the car, but the actual value of the car will be nothing like this. I wouldn't say it's immaculate, but I would say it's in good condition. There's no service history before I bought it, but I've kept pretty much every receipt since then, although I've done all the servicing myself. So what do you guys recon? What should I put the value as? Cheers,
Ric
15k?
Homer
Based on the price one of these would cost to import, I'd say £18k
Whitesupraboy2
I dont reckon you'd get anywhere near 18k agreed value to be honest, maybe 14k.

Given the nature of the conversion (Blitz twin) it will be worth a lot more than your run of the mill single.

I dont have a single (wish I did ) Worth more to us I agree, but worth that more on insurance agreed value, I doubt it.

I mean "your" as is the general term I was thinking more of replacement value, there are virtually no big twin conversions in the UK, so a replacement would more than likely be from Japan. Based on current prices for very specialised supra's like this, £18k seems the goinf rate. Perhaps Jurgen could provide a quote? That would help get a fair agreed value from the insurers.
