AutoGauge Boost Gauge Rant

Bought myself an el cheapo autogauge boost gauge from egay. Unfortunately with the car switched off the gauge is reading -2 in vacuum pressure :( My car is totally stock and when Ive got both turbos online I get 0.6 bar with this iffy gauge.

With this reading, I presume that Im really boosting at a normal 0.8 bar if its reading -2 negative pressure when switched off?

Does anyone know if theres anyway I can recalibrate the gauge?

Really cant be arsed. Was only purchased to see if the car was boosting OK. I'll drop a decent brand in there in the near future. At least all the plumbing and wiring etc is now in place :)

I bought one of those and had the same problem. Worse still, it wasn't even repeatable - when switched off it would settle randomly anywhere between -0.2 and 0.1!! Just binned it cos I wouldn't have trusted a replacement, even if it appeared to be working right. Bought a secondhand Apexi after that, which works great.

I've got one of these :swearsign: guages too. I put mine in the other week and its reading around 0.6 bar on full boost. I was getting ready to try the car in ?ttc? mode shortly to see if the actuators were working correctly. Think i'll get a new guage first
