Golddigga
I guess this is sort of technical I have just ordered a couple of the liquid chrome badges as part of the group buy. My question is how easy is it to get the current badges off without any damage?
chilli
depends what sort they are, the one I had on the back that said supra I eased off with a hair dryer to soften the glue and a plastic spatula to gently wedge under it. best thing is to take your time, it leaves a mess, use some fine compound and polish to get the paint back to nice after... Ian W
It's the centre ones that are worst as they'll leave a couple of holes iirc.
Golddigga
Are you talking about the toyota badge on the front of the car or the one on the back or both?
Guest Chumpalot
think the one one the back has locating pins on it. If you remove it you'll be left with holes. When debadging my old car just make sure it's nice and warm. I used an old credit card and just slid it between the paintwork and the badge, making sure to get as much glue off as possible in the first go. Any glue that's left can be removed by either picking it off or with a soft rag with a tiny bit of petrol on it. Make sure to treat the area afterwards. Millsy
The Toyota badge on the front of mine had holes left when I took it off, can't remember about the back. Either way, I've put badges back on now!
