RobSheffield
good point tho i could plead negligence Im sure you could plead many things, like 'please stop bashing me with that truncheon Occifer'
Rob
I'm sure I've heard that in a case like this you don't have to legally return it for 12 months if they ask for it back. If that's true, and I haven't just made it up, play the stock market or something and keep the rewards for yourself before paying back what you owe Now that's an idea. That's what banks do with our money.
lambertpig
spend it on he supra then when they take you to court you can claim to be a supra addict(which we all are). they should let you off and give you a holiday like they do for teen druggies

letmeshowyou
I'd keep hold of it for a sensible period of time before thinking about spending it. As others have said, they are allowed to attempt recovery of the money (though as I understand it they can't do so without your authorisation). The question is... does this mean there is someone who was expecting a large refund who only got £17?!
Dave Haggas
So lets assume that some person within that company accidently put the money in the wrong account,ie yours. This would mean that it is human error.I assume that you personally have never made a mistake? Have you thought of when the matter comes to light, which indeed it will, how the company will react to that person? Now Im not saying that you will be helping that person potentially keep their job within that company,but...?
SupraStar 3000
Well this is very strange because I spent £3752.45 with a large company and only received £17 refund when they couldn't deliver. Can you send me a cheque excluding your £17 to Mr SuparStar 3000. Thanks.
