Class One
Hammerite smooth.....all the way, easy to apply two coats, no heat issues, great finish.
jim_supra
I used the 2 part stuff you can get from Halfrauds. It has been nearly 2 years since i did them and they still look great. this way does take longer to do than the hammerite paint though

Mas
I went for the 1 part and ready to use, then colour coded them with same colour as the car, link here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=88826
SupraJames
I have used the FoliaTec 2 Part laquer on a few sets on calipers, takes a few coats to get it nice and smooth, and like any painting prep work is key.

I want to paint mine white as I have carbon effect logos to stick on but there is not a place to stick them on the rear, do you have some sort of covers on them? - have a look at post 4 to see what I mean http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=106763
RobSheffield
Why do your brakes look different to mine? Your brakes are JDM/J spec, Mas' brakes are UK spec

We seem to be thinking along the same lines all the time, first the Nur spec, caliper painting - whats next? (I have sprayed my dash already if you're thinking of that)

Class One
What colour have you got yours? How much preparation? Edit: I see yours are red! Maybe I'll go with black. I did them on the car, wire brushed them first then a nice steady hand. Job done start to finisnh two coats including wheel removal about 2 1/2hrs. AndrewOW
Nice. I think I'll pop into my local Halfrauds after work, and have a look at the colour selection. Black's probably best, but maybe a grey/silver may work. I would need to see them all first.
AndrewOW
Well I popped in to Halfrauds, and bought some Hammerite smooth black, a wire brush, and a couple of paint brushes from B&Q. Once I locate a heavy duty jack, I'll get right on it. Weekend probably!
