michael
http://www.kentonline.co.uk/news/default.asp?article_id=32086 There has to be more to it than has been reported surely? Why would 6 cars and armed police just happen to be passing and react like this to someone taking a photo? Have they been monitoring him on ilovepylons.com? He doesn't even have a beard, he can't be a terrorist
Gamer
Mr Neale suffers from a rare form of epilepsy and says he suffered a fit during the night. Let me guess, it is so rare that it will only surface in a police cell with the hopes of a nice payout.
mawby
I have to admit my thoughts went from "that's a bit harsh for just taking a photo" to "oh so he just wants money does he"

colsoop
What a great act that was passed in the name of protecting our freedom. The terrorism act much like the human rights bill seem to be being abused more than used to protect Also nice to see resources being spent wisely, ffs what would blowing up a pylon achieve No doubt he is after a payout but being held in the cells for 18 hours is a pisstake. I wonder if i went to London to photograph the houses of parliament they would arrest me under the terrorism act

Rob
How come the police just jumped out? Is there an armed guard hiding in the bushes near every pylon?

Shilakadaddy
For some reason I read the word "Pylon" as "Python"... made the story far more amusing thinking a guy was trying to blow up a python!
