Ribenaberry
Before i bought the car, someone had broken one of the brackets for the little sensors on the A panel, So last night i finally got around to replacing them, this meant that the sensors are now not pointing to the same point in the they were when they were just hanging loose on the wire. Problem is this morning the alarm goes off every time a relatively heavy vehicle rumbles down the street. And so to my question, does an alarm (this one is an Autowatch) have some kind of memory, where it is important at which part of the car it is looking at? and if so, can i just Disconnect the battery and reconnect so it starts to "Like" the part of the car it sees now? There might be a screw on the control box to adjust the sensitivity from vibration. The control box may well be hidden somewhere.
