I have just been halfords to get a touch up pen and said the colour was 3L2 so she searched the computer and there it was but there was also a 3L2/L, i have told her i am pretty sure its 3L2 so she is mixing that (unless i call them quick smart) but does anyone know for definite?

It could be worth noting that given the age of your car, it's possible that a 3L2 red may not actually match your car's paintwork perfectly.

 

should be fine for a touch up mind you :)

 

Yeh very true but i went to a body shop last week and the guy said its unbelievably still the original colour (must have had a respray me thinks) touch ups what i am after anyway so like you say should be fine
