Auto-style direct: rip off???

Ordered handbrake and gaiter through their ebay store, 6 weeks on and numerous calls from me to them, them saying twice 'we've sent it out' and nothing yet, when it should be '48-72 hrs' according to their website.

Promised emails and checks from them not materialised, both mobile numbers 'not recognised' and land line says 'closed for stock take' :angrymod:

Me thinks I have been ripped off, wondered if anyone had same before I post negative feedback on fleabay???

cheers guys

Linda

I ordered some Led bulbs off them ages ago. Bunch of conmen and ripoff merchants with probably one of the worst feedbacks on ebay.

If you leave them neg, they will do the same for you. Just write it off as a learning experience and buy from someone else.

I had the same problem. I ordered a handbrakecover, then 2 weeks later i received an e nail stating that some of their products had been lost by royal mail! When i went back onto their e bay site it said they were no longer registered!

So i reported it to paypal and about 3 days later i got my money refunded.

cheers rob am already doing the gaitors for linda for the delay in her seats blees her she keeps forgetting, linda u need to sell the iosotta and buy a momo sleeve[/quote

Wayne, not forgotten, wasnt fussed about their gaiter just wanted the handbrake cover itself as the momo's a bit fussy :p and was going to ask you about doing a gaitor for me anyway. As for isotta, i know someone on here who fitted one, saw it on his car even. Think he must have got a stanley knife to the lever to get the original cover on! will drop you a PM. Isotta sent back earlier today.

guys, thanks for advice don't want negative feedback on ebay when its not my fault they're rip off merchants  Will try and get dosh back from ebay itself.

cheers

Lol, its not that bad, i thought it was like takin the skin off a carrot :rlol:

But if its sorted then Job done :D

Hi Rob, i was curious to know if its a snug fit or if you needed to pad it to stop it slipping? Any fitting bits with the handle? I quite like tinkering with the supe so i'd do it anyway, if Wayne cant get one in time  ta m8

As long as you are careful and only take thin slivers off its very tight. Mine needed a little effort to get on, but i like it nice and tight.

There is a tiny secret grub screw iirc

Shutting up now as that sounds really perverse :p
