cheekymonkey
Hi All I was about to drop £200 on a nice BOV but then I had a thought - there's already a BOV on the stock setup, so why not make use of it? I am going to disconnect the BOV outlet pipe, and have it vent to atmosphere after bunging up the manifold connection. Hopefully it will make a nice noise! Is this worth trying? Homer
Yes, that works. It's makes the "bus door" noise, if thats what you're after It's not as loud as a proper vent to atmosphere BOV, but it's not bad for the money (nothing)

Will give it a go, record the sound, and do a quick write up. (Yes am starting simple but want to give something back to the club )

Class One
I did the stock bov mod to mine (it's an auto) and put it straight back to stock after 5 mins. On low boost it sounded like it was venting, I didn't like it at all.

I made mine adjustable to cure this. I think its the spring that weakens with time. If anyone wants the adjustable stock BOV let me know. Free to a good home now the SSQV is fitted
