absz
Right i,m in the process of rebuilding my engine. will be running a T67 p-trim. what is maxium boost that this turbo can take , and which is the best compression setup to go for? i have been offered some 86.5mm forged pistons with 8.9 c/r at a very good price. having ferrera inlet/exhaust valves fitted with uprated springs and retainers and ported/polish the head job. also should i go for aftermarket crankshaft bearing shells or toyota ones ? ps the fuelling setup will be 780cc injectors, hks fuel rail.two walbro fuel pumps -6 fuel lines and aeromotive FPR. Homer
Unfortunately mate: I've never seen a compressor map for any precision turbos, or from Boostlogic. For some daft reason they treat them as confidential and won't release them as far as I know. Terry will almost certainly know. (BTW, where are the pics of the damage ?) Homer
love pics of broken engine bits for some reason! If you don't get a response from Terry you might also want to check on SF, Kean is a member there. If you have the fuel for it I know figures of 2.2bar plus are thrown about, on our 98RON, who knows!
Kranz
which is the best compression setup to go for? i have been offered some 86.5mm forged pistons with 8.9 c/r at a very good price The CR you run depends on a number of factors: Maximum boost pressure Target power output Maximum fuelling available Detonation sensitivity of the engine Cam timing And many other factors! I have a useful simulation program called Dyno2000 that helps in working out all this stuff. Let me know if you want to borrow it.

absz
ouch man I thought the tweeking had sorted it or was the damage already done? i think the damage was done before i even got to the pod, but my first run the afr went into the 14s at 1 bar:taped:
