A most distressing thing happened last night

Last night I had the urge to have a play on GT4 and try and get some good lap times around the Nurburgring. So I turned the TV and PS2 on and sat down while it loaded. It went through it's normal Playstation screen and the the Polyphony one, then all of a sudden a little pop appeared. 'What's this?' I thought, it read "your data on this memory card is corrupted." I went "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!" and I cried lots

Sooo much time and effort was spent building up my garage and saving for the ltd edition cars, not to mention all the races!!! It even had my best lap round the 'ring' which I can't remember what it was.

You can copy a save game from one card to another.

Can be used to cheat as well as you can buy a car, tune it up to the max and then sell it to yourself at the original price but modded, saves loads of money ;)

Years even!

Tell me about it, that was the only memory card i had with every game i played saved on it.. Its not the same playing games with crappy cars that are so slow. I haven't played mine since... must be at least 6 months now..

I'd be gutted if my PS2 decided to throw that sort of wobbler at me. Too many hours spent on GT4 and San Andreas to just lose it in a flash. That said, if I started GT4 again I'd do it slightly differently. Like buy a TT as one of my first cars instead of simply using what I had won!

It is all just a little hint to do the PS3 thing. It is awsome.

But with no games available yet! Give it a year or two and the price will come crashing down, and there should be some games that stretch the PS3 nearer it's potential than they currently do.
