Jake
You lose a year for each year you don't use your NCB. So if you didn't use your 2 years NCB for 1 year it would drop down to one years NCB
jazz1
cheers for that jake but would not using these two for one or two months effect losing them?
Jake
Doesn't matter. Buying insurance a month at a time is an expensive way of doing it though.

Vicky
i work in insurance and the general rule across the board is that ncb cannot be used if it is 2 years out of date.
jaymdee
I once had 3 years ncb, didn't need it for a year and then picked it up again a year later, still at 3 years worth

AlanM
Yep, you retain it for 2 years (whatever it is) then lose the lot
