michael
There are a couple of threads about this already and a few people from here playing (as well as the other UK clubs) - I'm 'mcanny' but my car is in the garage for a few days so I can't accept any challenges

dangerous brain
Is there any way of knowing if a car is a wolf in sheeps clothing like that then b4 you accept a challenge? Also why do F1 car owners challenge probes? Like I would willingly just throw me cash away lol.
michael
The only way to gauge the performance of the other cars is to hang around and see who they beat or bet on the races they are in, that way you get to know their times rather than just who won. I tend to just accept races with everyone apart from those who are obviously quicker than me, the F1 cars etc The quick chaps just seem to challenge everyone they can in the hope that someone will accept, gets a bit daft when they expect you to hand them £210 though. I'm guilty of a similar thing in that I'll challenge everyone I can but generally only for £25 > £100 - you find that 1 in 10 accept and that's in a Focus, the F1 guys must have a really poor acceptance rate. I'm just waiting until Monday when my car comes back from the garage
Sherriff
RS200! My Cerbera's up to 575bhp now, running mid 7's, saving for bigger Turbo's and more NOS, or for a 959.... Cheers, Sherriff.

wicked-wench
I've got the F1 ferrari but no one will race me so it is probably a bit of a waste of time. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before the site owner includes thrust ssc and then I might get a challenger
michael
It needs to go the other way if anything, get rid of the *really* silly stuff and keep it to road cars.
wicked-wench
I think the game would be more enjoyable if it was split up into classes so that only the mods really made a difference. Also the system used to work out the benefits from the mods is very basic. For example I have bought polycarbonate windows for the F1 and it has lowered the weight (go figure) Also I'm fairly sure a turbo charger for and F1 car would be considerably more expensive than one for a supra. dangerous brain
I still have not won a single race and now no-one will bet against me when I bet on McCanny as the b*st*rds bought a Speed12 lol He was a good money earner til now. I am so far limited to earning whatever pittance they give you a day and and the extra from a level 24 pc race Its gonna take me forever to actually win any races. michael
Sorry I just fancied something a bit quicker so that I could race higher level computers for a bit, suspect I'll drop down to something more normal in a week or two though as not many people will challenge me
