you need to goto the passport office in liverpool and it costs a fortune for a on the spot passport, have you had one before?

If you are getting you're first one you cant get one on the spot so you will not get one in 2 weeks unfortuantly

takes about 2-3 weeks if you wait for it to be sent and same day if you go to any local passport office but cost alot more ;)

by the way the photos are a pain these days and make sure you have the photos taken by an approved passport office photographer :)

If it isn't your first passport Rob, you can go to Liverpool and get one sorted within a day. Let me know how you get on on the website/phone.

If you want I could give you a lift to the passport office and drop you off as parking can miles away and be a PITA. I was planning to have a day in Liverpool next week sometime......;)

When going to a passport office - MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! Otherwise you're stood there for a long time. It's usually done in 2-3 hours then you can collect. We did ours in Liverpool and went shopping. No drama. I don't recall it being any more expensive either?

Yeah, i called the passport helpline, they said book it, then turn up a couple of hours early!

They also said its definately £108.

Apparently the slow service is £96, and in no way guaranteed to arrive on time, so it would be a big waste. Maybe if i had 3 weeks to go i would risk it!
