RedM
Big thanks to Dave222 who did most of the fitting, gave technical advice and provided both the huge garage and the tools that did the job. Thanks also to Rik who supplied the fan. Sadly it didn't solve the odd grinding/high pressure water type noise. Probably looking at aux pulley/tensioner/belt thingy. Pixelfill
Sorry to hear that you still have woes to contend with Martin - hopefully not too expensive. Derek (dodgy) had his aux tensioner replaced recently he might be able to give you an idea of the costs for that specific job, although he had a round the houses escapade also - had his cam belt changed amongst other things chasing a phantom rattle that only happened when the engine was cold. by the way you have a grammar mistake in your avatar Mike
RedM
by the way you have a grammar mistake in your avatar Mike Bloody hell! I never noticed. Imagine that. I can normally spot a grammatical error at 100 yards (or in a Jamesmark post). I actually nabbed the avatar off of a site the URL of which I've since forgotten.
