nigelc
I was just wondering if my 98 facelift TT should have a warning light when the ignition is first on for the air bags. I've noticed this warning light mentioned several times in other posts, but I don't appear to have one. This makes me wonder has the bulb been taken on maybe? Can someone let me knoe where the warning light should be (right or left of dash), assuming they have one...
nigelc
Come on guys! You can't tell me with all the facelifts out there no one knows if they have an airbag warning light!
Faye
As no one else will talk to you I'm pretty sure my airbag warning is on the left hand side of the dash

Keith C
Not good. If you have airbags fitted then the airbag should come on for 6 seconds when you turn on the ignition, then go off. If it stays on that indicates a fault. No bulb at all indicates the bulb has blown/been removed!
nigelc
I have a feeling that someone has caused the bulb to stay on permanently (I think this is quite easily done?!) and has removed it. Just a feeling I have. Otherwise it's a) broken or b) without a fuse... Hopefully just the bulb and I can get it sorted.
Keith C
By all accounts you can trip it to stay on by turning on the ignition while the dash is apart or something like that.
Nick
A little late but....It's the far left warning light on the left hand panel.
nigelc
Thanks for the information guys and girls. My warning light was working ok. I didn't realise it was to the left of the dash, I thought it was to the right!
