Graham S
Whilst out on road test today I noticed coming towards me was a Lotus Carlton, it looked immaculate. That made me think, I haven't seen one of those for years.. Anyone else had one of these moments, and if so what car was it?
michael
Anyone else had one of these moments, and if so what car was it? Last week - Montego, took me a few looks to recognise it from a distance. Today - base model Sierra estate in disabled blue, not burning oil.

TrickTT
Don't know if it's still there (JODY T?), but interpro had a Tickford Capri in the workshop last year. For those that aren't Capri saddos like me, it was a limited edition single turbo 2.8i modified by Aston Martin. They where as unreliable as hell but rocketship fast in their day. chilli
saw a red (naturally) testerossa on the way home from work yesterday. Very nice but it looking a bit 80s dated if I'm totally honest, still a Ferrari thought

That made me think, I haven't seen one of those for years.. ? How bizzare. On that very day, or the day before, I was thinking about my old boss from a computer shop many years ago. He had a Carlton GSi 3000 which I always liked. I then went onto thinking about the Lotus Carlton that he liked, and thought I'd do some googling on specs when I got home... Ben-san
I've seen a proper mid-engined early 80's Renault 5 Turbo, retired from it's rally days around here somewhere. Really puts your age into perspective when you go 'ooooooooh' and the kids in the back go 'eeeeewwwww'.
michael
Another one today, not a car but something you don't see as much as you used to... An audio tape that has been pulled from it's case and is wrapped around plants at the side of the road, discarded CDs don't seem to be as common as these escaped tapes used to be.
