kubus1
Hi, I have a friend who has a special embroidery machine and he can print some t shirt or polo shirts for me. The only problem I have is that he needs the file to be in the PES format. I searched on the net but couldnt find anything. Can anyone help? Cuba

Cuba IIRC (and this is from a long time ago), adobe software can produce PES files, it defines the RGB settings of each colour. Just search google for "*.PES image format" I am pretty sure it will tell you what software to use for design/conversion

Jake
Can anyone tell me how to use an EPS file in Photoshop 7 or 8?
carl0s
file -> open you'll need to have the fonts on your system I think though.
Willson
You dont need the fonts. I seem to remember it says something like "You do not have the fonts, do you wish to open anyway".
carl0s
yeah it'll use the next best it can find. doesn't apply to the Supra logo though because that's just a vector drawing. Photoshop renders it as a bitmap to your specified dimensions.
Jake
But that just opens it up like a regular picture file. I thought these EPS things were scalable without losing quality, no?

I thought these EPS things were scalable without losing quality, no? yeah, that's why it renders it to whatever dimensions you specify. When you open it, it asks you how big you want it. I don't think photoshop is the preferred choice for working on EPS stuff. Try Illustrator.
