dandan
Hi everyone, Can any of you vvti owners tell me what colour your actual injector bodies are please. (Easily visible even by the most untechnical - see pic ) Non vvti J Spec - Light grey UK/US spec - Lilac/Purple Are the vvti's a pinky red colour. If so can anyone confirm for definite what the flowrate is at stock fuel pressure. Cheers

Matt Harwood
I think Terry had is tested and they're still 440's. No idea on the reason for the colour change. They're the same resistance too

Guest Terry S
Yes I had them flow tested because I couldn't understand the reason for the colour change. They are 440's.
Ian C
Toyota for some inscrutable reason changed the wire colours of many many systems when they facelifted the MkIV, before vvti got put in, so go figure -Ian
Guest Terry S
whilst saying that the VVTi uses a completely different ignition set up, ignitor, coils & HT leads:eek:

Ian C
The for sale/wanted section would be a good place to start You might have to buy a set of six though as no-one will want five cluttering up their garage... -Ian
