GetawayDriver
er... Terry... why?
Alex
er... Terry... why? Terry's ones were setup differently from PaulE's, infact better suited to the road than the standard ones!
dandan
How many miles did you put on them Jay. If I remember rightly they're not that old are they? (I'm not buying - more curious about the leak vs mileage...) Good luck with the sale...
GetawayDriver
I bought them brand new from terry. did he sell a diferent new version from paul or did you think i had terry's own used set up? Not many miles at all. 9-10,000 maybe, tops. have to say though - not easy miles. if you want race car handling, these are the ones.
Chiefgroover
Anyone know what ID and length springs these take? Anyone know who can do a good revalve on them also?

jevansio
I think the leak may be putting people off, if you could get that fixed might get more interest

albundy68
the paulE/terry thing was sales pitch, there was quote from JIC somwhere saying they hadnt fiddled with any UK JICs i have these and am very very happy with them, but in fairness to everyone i should mention that i needed mine reconditioning, and it ended up costing 800+ and taking 9+ months. they had to go to JIC US and JIC are useless, utterly utterly useless. if these can be re-valved in the UK its a bargain because this is one of the best coilover set ups around. Jay, if you dont sell them i may be interested in them for spares, but couldnt give you much, so just pm me if you dont have any luck with the sale/are gonna put em on pikeyBay. GetawayDriver
9 months?! £800?! i suppose they won't take them air freight either because they are pressurised? i will find somewhere to re-valve them in the uk and let you guys know.

Soonto_HAS_soop
I bet he tells you that they are crap and that you should buy something else rather than waste your money on these....
Chris Wilson
I bet he tells you that they are crap and that you should buy something else rather than waste your money on these.... He actually said he considers them none cost effective to repair, and although he does believe a UK dealer for them exists, he is unable to get shafts for them. GetawayDriver
thats true. he did say that. i guess they are now for sale as spare parts for someone else.
albundy68
i searched high n low for a UK JIC rep, n i didnt find one. yup, mine had to go to JIC US via snail mail, n ive still got the tax man hassling me for import tax on way back, ...bas'ards! id reccomend seeing if anyone non JIC can fix, if not (as per CW), then theres a home with the spiders in my garage for em. let me know if no one else wants em/they cant be fixed easily (so u can sell em properly) Jay.
