Need4Speed
Does anybody else who has fitted these rims think that the wheel studs should be longer?

Need4Speed
I get 13 turns on the nuts which is the same as with the old Supra dome nuts, but do other people's look like this.

Looks a bit odd to me, but a thread engagement of 1.5 times the OD of the stud is plenty.
ChrisR
I dont recall mine being like that, i will check tonight. Do you have toyota discs or aftermarket. Do the wheels sit flush on the disc face.
Need4Speed
Chris W. Exactly and if they were dome nuts I wouldn't have questioned further. Chris R. The discs are Toyota, the rims seat OK and the car runs fine. 13 turns is OK (I did 25000 miles on the old rims like that). Anybody like to post a photo of a rear rim centre for comparison. Matt Harwood
Hi John, I had Lexus wheels on my old auto, and yes the wheel nuts were a lousey fit. I did look at getting some longer studs, but never got around to it. whilst they are a poor fit, they never caused me a problem.

Need4Speed
Thanks Matt - maybe the solution is to use the dome nuts then I wouldn't worry:(
