the supra has sprung the worst oil leak i've ever seen.

got it down to the garage i use (took nearly 5 litres of oil to get there). just had a call off them and they say its coming from under the cam cover, so its a seal somewhere in there thats blown probably.

think this is gonna be expensive :(

As Keron said - check for a failed pressure switch - it's on the passenger side of the engine, high up on the block close to the head gasket. You should be able to see it near the back of the power steering pump. (Has a single wire going to it)

I had one of these go a few years ago and it pi$$es oil out! At least it only cost me about £40ish (I think) for a new one and an hour to fit it.

sound like the leak is somewhere behind the cambelt cover though.... crank seal maybe?

Get back onto the garage and clarify where it's coming from. In your first post you said it was coming from under the cam cover. In your last post you mention cambelt cover.

its cambelt cover area... typo in the first post sorry.

when i was looking all i could tell was that it was at the front of the engine... there was too much oil for me to tell exactly whre though, thats why i took it to the garage.
