Zorst problem - Please help

Hi all,

Got the car out of the garage yesterday after it had been in there all week. Had it running on the drive for a while, left it off while I fitted some new bulbs and then about 2 hours later put it away.

Today when I got the car out for its usual Sunday blast I noticed that there was a small patch of water under the back of the zorst.

I looked underneath and the 2 joins after the backbox both looked a bit wet. Touched them and it was cold water but quite black (I gather the inside of my exhaust is dirty!) After a good drive, in which it responded well and had no problems these joins are now dry.

Could it be condensation leaking out of a couple of poor joins?

Hi.

Been out all morning with no problems. Car is running fine, idling fine and pulling fine.

However, the red warning triangle on the rev counter has illuminated on the way home. I stopped the car and checked the boot to see if that was open, it wasn't. Then I stopped the car running and restarted the car and the light had gone off.

After about 1/2 mile it came on again!! Still driving completely ok.

When I pulled up at home I put the handbrake on. I took it off again and the warning light came off again. Took it our for a mile or so and the light did not come back on. Any ideas????:search:

Well I have been out for a quick spin in the Soop tonight and no warning light is on.

When the handbrake is on I get 2 lights on. The red light in the rev counter with a triangle and ! in the middle and another red light on down in the bottom right of the dash which is the standard handbrake on light.

When I had the problem I only had the red light in the rev counter with the ! on. Any more ideas?
