hoff
I just set out on a short journey, 8 mile round trip. I started out in drive in overdrive. I took it steady for a little then took off, red lined it. It went up a gear, then got to 80 mph and turned overdrive on. Then I noticed the overdrive light on the dash was flashing on and off, even in park. Switched her off for a bit and thought it was ok, turned O/D off again switched it on and it started again. Have I knackered the autobox?
edge
Did it effect the way it drove? Maybe just a dodgy/dirty connection to check before you fear the worse

veilsideTT
Defo connections in the odometer matey. You having trouble with your cruise controll now also? Check the above threads/fix and jump the two speed signal wires (one going in and one comming out) You also need to cut one of them going to the odometer else your speedo wont work (think its the output one) Scotty
