Fargo
as the tittle says, will uk spec turbos bolt straight on to a jspec soop.
CJ
Afraid not old chap. I "think" there are several differences not least a different manifold.
Ian W
Afraid not old chap. I "think" there are several differences not least a different manifold. hence the use of Hybrids?
JustGav
Hmmm, I know there are a few differences... They would line up with the head, but the exhaust manifold is different, also they would have a slightly different pressure map which wouldn't suit the stock J-spec ECU. Fargo
so if a set were to come with actuator and manifold, what else would be needed to put onto the jspec, im thinking more in terms of having the stronger steel blades instead of the ceramic ones
Alex
Reall you want everything from the manifold to the 1st downpipe...inc everything in between.
Jake
Why would you want to put those laggy old things on your car anyway? Stick with the fast spooling ceramic ones - much better.
Bob
Reall you want everything from the manifold to the 1st downpipe...inc everything in between. including the bloody expensive ceramic valvey thing [scientific term] (exhaust gas recirculating valve?) and a blanking plate for one of the exhaust valve bits on the manifold.
