I have just seen a silver aerotop, pretty standard I think, parked in Heathfield highstreet and I'm not happy as I thought I was the only aerotop in Heathfield!!! :(

Next one I just saw in heathfield highstreet in black K reg, multi spoke wheels, with something like street modified written down the skirts.

Good question! I suppose cos you haven't posted any photos of your car in your garage I don't know what to look out for?! :)

Funnily enough I don't go out Supra spotting either, but they do tend to stand out in a crowd when I do see one.

Once I've figured out what the Supra salute is, I'll be much happier too.

I'm very surprised you're having so much trouble getting the roof back on. It takes me around 2mins maximum to put it back on and do all the bolts up (with the wrench), but even without it a decent 6mm allen key should do the trick.

I know the roof can be quite awkward to maneouvre, and if you're not a tallish person, I could imagine it would be a handfull. If its just the bolts that are giving you hassle, then maybe one of us 'aerotopians' could have a look at it for you at some point.

I hope its not putting you off going 'topless' tho! :)

Lol no it's definatly not stopping me going topless!

I am tall so I can put the roof on alright, I only have an allen key at the moment which is annoying, it's just doing them up in that order means jumping out and running round the car to do the next one!

It definatly takes me longer than 2mins though!!!!

I do understand your predicament, but it is possible to do the roof bolts up from inside the car. I do have to reach over to the passenger front one (windscreen) a little more than the rest, but I can then get them all done up nicely. I tend to do them all up a little bit first, then go round again just to tighten them all properly.

If you're having trouble with the bolts, try putting a little WD40 on them. This seems to free up the insertion a little easier (ooer) and they bite better on contact.

A plain allen key itself sounds like a fine solution, cos the wrench that comes with the car either works one side or the other (tighten or undo), and you have to swap the allen key over each time, and it sometimes pops out of the wrench altogether. Which is a bit of a pain.

I've just put my roof back on and it takes longer to get it neatly out of the boot without scratching it, than to put it back on!

Hey SupraGirlie.

Was that you I saw behind me turning right onto Seaside Road earlier today?

Sorry I didn't wave, I didn't really know it was a Supra behind me until I pulled out of the junction. So many 'mock' Supra's around nowadays. Of course I mean kitted up FTO's. Loads of them!

If it was you, then that red is really nice. :)
