Peeling clearcoat - any quick fixes?

I have a car I'm planning to sell on, it's an odd pearl colour with a clearcoat over the top - this seems to have gone a bit freaky on a small area of the bonnet, a bit white in places as if it's lifted slightly.

Are there any ways to sort this kind of thing out without opting for a full repray of the panel?

You can sometimes get away with sanding down the area with wet and dry and then re laquering but most of the time its a respray panel job.

Never do that mate, I done that to my bonnet (MR2) and it looked really bad as it only scratches the laquer and doesn actually get rid of it! and it will look even worse.

How about a T-cut?
