Pete
I saw a duck squashed in the middle of the road whilst queuing in the usual rush hour traffic last night. I don't mind usual birds, foxes, cats...but a squished Mallard made me quite sad.

Pot
lol - There was a swan sat in the middle of the road by the Norwood (Cheltenham) yesterday morning... Maybe there's a problem with the earths magnetic field, and this is one of the early signs of our imminent doom?...

SupraStar 3000
we have a pair in our local village that walk around inside the supermarket. First time I saw them I thought it was very strange to hear a quak quak coming from the sliced bread section and find a couple of ducks walking away after doing the weekly shop. RedM
If it's still there in the morning charge it for overnight parking. Mind you, it'll probably just say... "stick it on my bill". I've got loads of duck jokes to drive you quackers with.

Godmutha
Update on the duck situation.... One of the guys took the duck in a box to the Wildlife Rescue centre about 20miles away yesterday. They said she was a young duck, but had no injuries, so they weren't sure why she was in the car park. Got to work this morning, duck is back in the car park.
