Your not going at the paintwork yourself are you :( ?

Nope not for my car :D but had you worried lol

I need it to cut into my bro's peugeot. someones heavily keyed the rear, with what I can only describe as wire wool looking and the body shop said G3 by hand with water will get most out with time and patience.

He then said a couple of coats of polish will be needed.

Does this sound right??

By way if you think this sounds wrong let me know. Im not really up for breaking bro's car but from looking at it, it cant get much worse!

It depends on how much paint you have to work with. can you feel the marks with your finger ?

Dave (supraloopy ) is the expert in that area he is your best bet for advice.

Yes you can feel with your finger but not gone through the base coat as its not silver metal you can see.

Instead of G3, how about something a little lighter like Poorboy's SSR3, still very good at bringing up the paintwork, but a little more tolerant of in-experienced application..

What you mean inexperienced :D

I was thinking of something lighter, but some of these are a visable depth if you know what I mean, Im almost tempted to get some clearcoat, fill the scratches and sand back and then use the PC to sort it.

But thats alot of work and as its a swirl of scratches wont look too good.
