pete.w Posted April 17, 2007 Share Posted April 17, 2007 ive braught oil temp and oil presure gauges (blitz id ) so require a sandwich plate to fit them in ,can anyone tell me if i need an adapter as the temp gauge is male fitment and the presure gauge is female .been looking on ebay and found a plate for 24.99 are these ok or does anyone supply a kit with adapters to fit, are the all universall threads . thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SUPRASUZUKI Posted April 17, 2007 Share Posted April 17, 2007 I think you'll find most (all?) sandwich plates are drilled and tapped to accept male fittings. If you need to get an adapter, take the sensor and the sandwich plate to your local hydraulic equipment supplier. They'll sort you something out for next to no ££. One piece of advise take the bolts out you are not using and put some plumbers pft tape round them and put them back.
