Guest Geneb Posted April 16, 2007 Share Posted April 16, 2007 An Auto Electrician removed a faulty Turbo timer from my car now when i drive it after 3mins the O/D off flashes every 2 secs while im driving. also when i get upto about 80 leptons the main red Hazard triangle comes up when code read its 42. when car is restarted everything is ok up until about 3mins then it all starts again. the guy is coming back wednesday any idea's on what i can trell him to look for? Guest Geneb Posted April 16, 2007 Share Posted April 16, 2007 yeah speed sensor but it was alright until he removed the HKS timer and tbh i have no idea where the speed sensor is, Gearbox? wheel? dont think its under dash were he was working../. Ryan.G Posted April 16, 2007 Share Posted April 16, 2007 Sounds to me like your speedo convertor and turbo timer were wired to same earth and auto electrician did not connect it back to earth after removing.
