Konrad
Wasn't those guys specialists from Kamasutra? And yea it is rather religious thing, because Indians working in my garage (and it is like 400 drivers) are everything but shy if it comes about sex and nice woman bits and boobs
wkdtime
I make it 80.5%. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_India But more importantly muslims make up only 13%... If you want to get technical then here you go, my original post erm.....88% of their population is hindu/sikh. As you can see, i have said 88% population is Hindu/Sikh etc...i.e non muslim! And this was taken from the link you provided, you must missed this bit... % total of population 2001, Muslims = 13.1% Using basic maths, 100-13.1= 86.9%, so I that makes me pretty damn close. Nuff said, Capiche?
chilly
Why did Shilpa bother to go on big bro, surely she knew what antics went on there, and must have known the reaction in her own country? She is apparently trying to break into hollywood. She is really good looking so i dont think she will be doing war movies or comedy i take it at some poit she will do a love scene. BURNING EFFIGIES OF HOLLYWOOD!! Is she deliberatley doing a publicity stunt?

wkdtime
That was my point too, that not everyone in India is a Hindu or Muslim. Do you get me? Erm no i dont....get you that is. I kindly pointed out to Jake that your more likely to come accross a temple in India than a mosque, as Sikh's Budhist's, Indian all worship in temples and not in mosques.... I proved that point, as 83% of indian's are non muslims. You seemed a little unsure about that and i set out to prove it to you judging from your post below, That's assuming "they" are Hindu or Muslim? So its fair to assume, that most business's, Media enterprises oh and not to forget the public are mostly made up of Indians/Sikhs...therefore me assuming that they were mostly made up of Hindus/sikhs is a pretty good assumption. Guest ColB
what, there are no Christians or other religions in India... ? As for majority of the country being behind the times compared to us, yes they are, and no, a lot of them do not have telly or radio, so they have to amuse themselves, but yes I agree to out views, they are very extreme
Pot
I just think that sometimes we have a go at other cultures for not understanding our culture, when they do something that we don't understand in ours. Maybe we all need to give each others cultures more respect. (nah - that's an ideal world scenario isn't it? Never gonna happen so I'll shut up!) Good point... Made me think, does there come a point when we spend so much time 'understanding other cultures' we (As a whole) start to forget ours?... Hope I haven't cracked a can of worms... /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_sad.gif I'd still whipsnap her rawhide though
chilly
Why does everything revolve around religion? When Osama Bin Laden did the 9/11 thing, did we take to the streets and burn his effigy? I think this country does extremely well at accepting other religions and cultures. Its just a shame others do not!!
