Really looking foward to the pod on saturday only going to spectate but looking forward to taking the supe unfortunately my clutch started slipping above 4000rpm at the weekend the pod is only a 70mile round trip for me so do i risk the clutch holding out?

It is most likely to slip if you are in a higher gear at lower rpms, when the clutch is under the most load ie. if you are in 4th and accelarate at 2000rpm. If you can drive it in lower gears at higher rpms without it slipping then it *may* be ok.

I ll towe you if it gone :) but Im sure you ll be fine mate as it just started doing this and you still have a few more miles to the end of your clutch. ask Mark at Phoenix he might be able to sort you out with a reconditioned one.

cheers for the offer Mas but the towing hooks buried way behind the aftermarket front bumper so basically its cant be towed without removing the bumper!

Yeah just remembered I have the same problem :D so can't towe and cant be towed either .

n/a jokes aside would it cause any other damage if it went completely or would i just need to repalce the clutch?

If it goes completely, then you'll not be able to move in any gear ie. the engine will just rev and you'll get no drive.

Provided the clutch isn't slipping when you drive it, then you will do no damage, if it is slipping excessively then it'll generate a lot of heat which could knacker your flywheel.
